The International Summer School is a great opportunity to learn more about the fascinating research field of printed electronics and photonics like perovskite solar cells.

Would you like to expand your knowledge on nanophotonic materials, metamaterials and printed optoelectronics? Do you enjoy working in a diverse environment of international students? Are you thinking about studying or pursuing a doctorate in Germany? 

Learn more about the state of art in research, interact with experts, get to know German industry, train your soft skills and have fun with other international students during the International Summer School!

The International Summer School adresses Master and advanced Bachelor students of physics, electrical / mechanical engineering, material science or a related field. The total costs of the Summer School amount to € 600, which covers meals and participation in program. It is possible to apply for a scholarship that covers the participation fee.

The Summer School is organized by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The cooperation partners are the Karlsruhe School of Optics and Photonics, the Cluster of Excellence 3D Matter Made to Order and the EnsembleCentre of Excellence.

Target Group: International M.Sc. and advanced B.Sc. students from Physics, Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or related fields.

Number of participants: 20 participants maximum

Teaching language: English

Costs: € 600 (incl. meals (according to program) and participation in program

Registration: Apply from March 7 – May 6, 2022 (Non-EU) / May 15, 2022 (EU)

Accommodation: Participants will be accomodated in rooms in a hostel in central Karlsruhe.
