Tell me who you are and where you come from.

My name is Nitish Tripathi, I joined KSOP in 2011. I come from India.

 

What is your specialization?

My specialization is Optical Systems.   

 

What are your future plans?

Right now, I am working as a software developer for computer vision, and I would like to continue working in this field.

 

Where do you work?

I am working in Mannheim at Opasca Systems GmbH as software developer.

 

Do you feel well prepared for your career by KSOP? In which way?

Absolutely! KSOP gave me the opportunity to pursue research in computer vision. I could take lecture in it, which by the way was awesome, did my internship at one of the industry partner of KSOP, and later did my master thesis. Curriculum at KSOP has a perfect balance of theory and practical.   

 

At which company did you serve your internship? 

I did my internship at Trumpf Laser und Systemtechnik GmbH, Ditzingen.

 

What do you like most about KSOP?  

The opportunity to meet students from so many countries. I specially liked the KSOP Career Fair. I actually landed to my internship at one of the career fairs organised by KSOP called Internship Icebreaker.

 

Is there something special you would like to tell prospective students?

If you are considering to apply, then do it ASAP and best of luck. If you are selected, then congratulations. Your next two years will be the best years of your life. True story.
