KSOP Summer Schools

The KSOP Summer School presents a unique opportunity for students and young researchers to get exposure to the latest advancements and to meet leading experts in the different research areas of the KSOP program.

Alternating with KDOP the KSOP summer schools were organized in 2008, 2010 and 2013 and were a great success and therefore the next KSOP Summer School is already planned in 2014. While the first summer school covered all four Research Areas, the second event of this type was fully devoted to the topic of metamaterials. A poster session accompanied the talks and lectures which were given by invited guest scientists and international key speakers as well as KSOP scientists. Both summer schools were not only attended by students and doctoral researchers from KSOP but also by more than 100 students and young scientists from abroad.
